I believe the government cover up comes from pressure from groups not wanting others than columbis being the first one to discover america for some reason.

Doug, Have you ever noticed that it seems that every effort was taken to destroy any evidence that the Spaniards were here in Utah? Extremes such as the so called CC Camps for the purpose of creating jobs for the American people? Yet there was one requirement in order to get one of these jobs.....does anyone know what that was?

Hiding and concealing old trails? Slash and burn any tree with man made looking marks on them along with any tree with scars for the purpose of ridding the beetle infested trees? Where are the CC Camps today? This would all seem in conflict with "not wanting any one but Columbus as being the discoverer of this land" and yet never do they recognize that someone was here when they got here? Have you noticed that they never made any attempt to destroy the monuments? Why is that? Did you know that in old English Law and even today that when you "claim" a certain piece of land not only for mining purposes you build a monument? And what was the first thing the Spaniards did along with other foreign explorers at every new place they encountered? They BUILT a Monument and claim it for their King or Empress. These monuments to this day are as valid a claim on this land as the brass medallions found at certain places......according to their laws....

In mans law or should we say law of England these monuments reinforce their claim on this land and whether any "Good Red Blooded American" wants to believe it or not, England, according to their laws had valid claim to this land even before it was made a matter of law in 1862 and these monuments simply reinforce it.....This all according to their laws.....

However, their is one law supreme to all law man can conjure up by way of "Acts" have you ever wondered why it is called an "Act", look it up......

How can they claim discovery if there was already some one here?.......These are the rightful stewards of this land and there is nothing you or I or any law of man can do about it......we can ignore it....but the law stands and will not go away. "We," Gentile, None Indigenous to this land, meaning prior to Columbus, He who brought the Gentile to this land, are guests upon this land, and we would do good to remember this and remember who has stewardship of this land and he who's right it is to give them this stewardship and to keep HIS laws.......Least we be swept off.......

The simple answer to your comment above "For some reason" would be...the pride of men.....the Indian never believed this land was theirs, and that they were "OF" the land, the true ownership being that of their creator....they belonged to the land, not the land belonged to them, but they knew it was given them stewardship over it for all time.......

Anything that might show that other than European claimed this land first will be suppressed......
