			<description><![CDATA[ Does anyone know of any Spanish &quot;stuff&quot; near Cedar City?  I just had a guy in my office today that was born and raised in Cedar City and he drew me a
map to some Spanish writing and a large circular stone with a hole in the middle and Spanish writing on the Stone.  Part of what he told me about is turtle
shells that are filled with spots.  Anyone out there ever hear of any of this? ]]></description>

I have done some checking on the story and also the man who wrote it.
<br>
I found that Jim Bridger was fairly busy in 1868 but <u>might</u> have had time to make a run down the Colorado.
<br>
Also the honesty of the letter writer is in doubt.
<br>
He made some claims that have been called into question by historians.
<br>
I thought I would throw it out and see what the forum thought about the story.
