really interesting spots where the geology seemed to be checking out and all that but no mine.  Found all sorts of writing on trees.  Who was &quot;W C&quot;?

how he had helped Jose get the claims and also Jose had helped him put a motor in his old Willys jeep. There was lots of discussion about what was actually

Hills&quot;. Quite an amazing place actually. A hotbed of geothermal activity as evidenced from the rock. Also we found some very well preserved mining sites.
With the grand Deep Creek Mountain range for a backdrop you really cant go wrong with a quick visit to the Honeycomb Hills. Here is what we were able to

			<title><![CDATA[ Cool mine we hit today  **pics** ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Had never been to this one, theres several in the area.  Monster pink quartz vein surfaces just to the East of the entrance.  They hit it 3 times inside.  No
vertical shaft though...hauled all my rope and gear up the mountain for nothin.  I do hate belly crawling (especially when I&#39;m first in) into thos holes. 
Always figure theres either a lion or a skunk waitin on the other side.

			<description><![CDATA[ We went out on a hike yesterday in Brown's Park and found some interesting stuff. We went up a little draw on the north side of Brown's Park and found evidence of recent prospecting for what looks to be copper. We found these two interesting rock structures and I couldn't tell what purpose they served. It didn't look like they ever had a fire in them. Maybe some of you know what they were.
